Corvette C5
Corvette C5
The Corvette C5 is the flagship of Xero, most notably the bright yellow version, which Xero have been competing with since 2003. However this is not the only Corvette produced by Xero. Xero have made a few cars (based on the Pratt & Miller GT2 chassis of the yellow car) for other customers.

The Xero C5 corvettes have raced competitively in many series over the years, including British GT, Belcar, Rhino's GT, FFSA, Britcar, and most recently the GT cup. The yellow cars most recent victory at Donington park, made it into the history books at the last vicory at Donington in it's current layout.

The Xero corvettes come with a variety of LS engines with different capacities. Originally starting with the standard C5 LS1 5.7 the Corvettes then ventured onto a larger capacity 6.0 LS2, before finally making the leap to the new generation of LS engines, the 7.0 LS7, boasing much impored horsepower and torque. It is this latter engine that has given the Corvette C5 (a now ageing car) a new lease of life, which means it can quite hapily keep up with the almighty Moslers, which utilise the same engine.

The Corvettes compete in a variety of races from 24hour races, through long endurance races of 6 hours, right down to sprint races.
